Hidden in the recesses of my memory are the remains of intense experiences that my senses once registered. Recollections reveal more or less, and sometimes completely unconscious, images from the past. Due to a random external impulse, resurrected memories break into the present.
They suddenly appear in colorful spots and complicated lines, adding intensity to the emotions associated with them. These suddenly recurring, hidden and indelible inner perceptions occupy my mind. They are an inspiration for me and a necessity to resolve them in the painting process.
